Paul Parsons is a senior graphic designer and digital vector illustrator with over two decades of professional creative experience. Specialising in high-precision Adobe Illustrator artwork, Paul spent 15 years as the Head Graphic Designer at a leading media agency, leading brand strategy, creative direction, and visual design across diverse media channels.

Driven by a passion for design education, Paul transitioned into academia, sharing his industry expertise as a lecturer in Graphic Design, Illustration, and Media at Havant & South Downs College and the University of Portsmouth. His dual background in high-level agency leadership and academic instruction gives him a uniquely refined perspective on both technical execution and strategic visual communication bring the industry into his classroom.

Key Projects & Accomplishments

Portsmouth Typographic Series: Creator of a celebrated series of custom typography prints capturing local cultural identity, including acclaimed pieces such as Albert Road in a Pint, Pompey FA Cup,  We Create the Future and many more.

Nationwide Waterstones Retail Line: An approved artist for Waterstones, Paul designed a bespoke, location-tailored print collection available in retail stores spanning from Portsmouth to Liverpool. 

Book Illustration & Publishing: Designer and illustrator of The Road from Karachi Indian and Pakistani cookbook, as well as the popular Ways and Woes children’s book collection. His illustrated title Woodland Ways offers a lighthearted, educational journey that teaches children outdoor etiquette, environmental awareness, and respect for the natural world.
