Southsea based illustrator, Eleanor Mitchell, has been creating artwork ever since she’s been able to pick up a pencil. She creates her artwork both digitally through Procreate and traditionally, opting for acrylics and canvas. She also dabbles in curating murals, participating in Look Up Portsmouth 2025.

Originally a graphic designer, graduating in 2020, she blends story telling techniques alongside illustrative blackwork inspired by surrealism and dark fantasy themes to comfort the dreamers and allow an escape into the unknown. Eleanor’s evolution into illustration is inspired by alternative fashion and music, it also challenges the boundaries between fantasy and reality.
